Sick Child PolicyChild Behavior Policy

Out of respect for all our members, we ask that all meeting and event attendees adhere to our Sick Child Policy:

Please do not attend any MOMS Club events if you or your child(ren) have any of the following symptoms (currently or in the previous 24 hours):  fever, vomiting, diarrhea, sore throat, heavy coughing, constant runny nose (or with thick yellow or green discharge, not attributable to allergies), pink eye, head lice, etc.  If your child has or has recently had any of the common childhood illnesses or bacterial infections -- such as Fifth's Disease, Hand-Foot-Mouth, Chicken Pox, strep throat, Salmonella, etc. -- please have your pediatrician confirm that your child is NO LONGER CONTAGIOUS.  Not only are these diseases highly contagious, but in some cases they are also extremely dangerous for our pregnant Moms.

 Thanks!

Every Mom has a different philosophy for child-rearing, and the MOMS Club respects that.  However, there are a few basic guidelines that are in place for child behavior so that everyone can have a great time at MOMS Club meetings, nurseries, and events.

Unacceptable behavior includes (but is not limited to):  hitting, biting, spitting, slapping, hair-pulling, destruction of property (ie, meeting places, toys, etc.), and any other overly aggressive behavior.  In the event that any of the above behavior is present during MOMS Club activities, please remove your child until the behavior is corrected.  If you note that a child other than your own is displaying any of the above behaviors, please tactfully inform the child's Mom so that she can handle it herself.  Your discretion in handling any personal disciplinary action is appreciated.

 Thanks!
